Eighth Grade U.S. History Curriculum
The purpose of Eighth Grade U.S. History is to allow students to develop a deeper understanding of the evolution of culture of the United States. Through a close and analytical study of eras, events, individuals, and forces of change, this understanding is advanced through a combination of selective factual knowledge and appropriate analytical skills. Our course of study will also incorporate world events that overlapped U.S. history, including World War I and World War II, the Vietnam War, and the Cold War Era.
